Solo Dog Walk Adventures

Tailored attention for dogs on the Monterey Peninsula who prefer a 1-on-1 experience

Not every dog thrives in a group setting  and that’s why we offer Private Solo Adventures. Designed for dogs who benefit from one-on-one attention, these outings provide safe, enriching experiences tailored to your dog’s individual needs.

Whether exploring coastal trails, building confidence in new environments, or enjoying dedicated outdoor enrichment, every outing is led by experienced professionals with a strong focus on safety, structure, and personalized care.

Adventure-based services are our specialty at Seaside Pups. While we do offer neighborhood walks upon request, our business is intentionally built around premium outdoor adventures and structured field trips, making neighborhood walk availability limited

Why choose a Coastal Canine Field Trip?

If your dog finishes a neighborhood walk and still seems “on”  pacing, barking, asking for more shortly after coming home this usually means they do.  High-energy and working breeds need more than routine sidewalks. That's why we offer this service.

Deeper Mental & Physical Fulfillment

A neighborhood walk maintains routine while a Canine Field Trip provides immersive stimulation. New Terrain, new scents and real world exposure

Structured Skill Reinforcement

Field trips are not just hikes, during the trip we reinforce recall, hiking manners and neutrality around people and dogs

Built for High-Energy Dogs

For the dogs who still feel "on" after walks, pacing or seeking constant engagement at home. We channel energy into productive movement, which is extremely beneficial for intelligent, working and high energy breeds

Calmer Evenings at Home

The goal is fulfillment not just exercise. Many recurring field trips clients experience: Less restlessness, improved overall balance and a calmer more relaxed dog

Frequently asked questions

Why we use crates?

Did you know? Most 'professional' dog walkers use open transport, standard wire crates, car harnesses  that are not rated for collisions. We are the only Peninsula service that treats your dog’s transport with the same safety standards as a child’s car seat.

We're happy to move at your pup's pace when introducing them to our crates!
